Banknova

Terms of Use

Last updated:

Banknova's Terms of Use are Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). It applies to Banknova like it does to any app from the App Store that has no license of its own:

The rest of this page explains how Banknova's subscription works, in plain words. If anything here differs from the EULA or from what the App Store shows you when you buy, those apply.

What you pay for

Banknova is free to download. Scanning a banknote is available only to subscribers, including people in the free trial. There are no free scans and no ads.

Payment and automatic renewal

Cancelling

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Banknova and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from Banknova: Settings → Manage subscription. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Restoring a purchase

On a new device, or after reinstalling, sign in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe. Then open Banknova and tap Restore on the subscription screen, or go to Settings → Restore purchases.

Refunds

Payments go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

About the results

Banknova reads what is printed on a banknote and gives its country, denomination and year, with an estimated collector value shown as a range from worn to uncirculated condition. The value is an AI estimate, not a formal appraisal and not an offer to buy. Banknova does not check whether a banknote is genuine. If the app isn't sure, it says so.
